Convert Korean Hangul to Latin letters using the Revised Romanization of Korean (2000).
annyeonghaseyo
This is a simplified converter that romanizes each jamo (initial/medial/final) by position. Sound changes such as liaison and consonant assimilation (e.g. 한국어 → hangugeo) are not applied, so results may differ from the official spelling. Conventional spellings of proper nouns may also differ.
Yes. It romanizes Hangul based on South Korea's Revised Romanization (the 2000 system from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism). Use it as a guide for spelling place names and personal names.
Because it is a simplified version that converts each jamo (initial, medial, and final) by position, sound changes such as liaison and consonant assimilation (e.g., 한국어 → hangugeo) are not reflected. The result may differ in places from official or conventional spellings.
Currently it supports only one direction, Hangul to Roman letters. Reverse conversion from Roman letters is not offered because it is too ambiguous.
